Hello! I’m Laurin! I'd love to be your tutor or create your new stuffed animal.

I teach Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, grade school math, and PreCal. I love functions the most. I was a teacher for 10 years in the USA and Japan! Outside of math, I love languages, crocheting, cooking, history, biology, anime and puzzles. Math, especially word problems, is just one big puzzle. It's fun! I know many people have anxiety when it comes to math, but my job is to get you to not be anxious when you do math and at least not hate it. I'm very excitable unless I'm coffee-less. Let's work together. Tutoring is legitimately enjoyable to me, and I hope to give that to my students, or like I've said before, at least make my students not hate it! Higher math isn’t difficult, just long.

Crocheting is my favorite hobby. My favorite thing to make are my Goku Angels. However, I crochet blankets and bags as well as stuffed animals. With a consultation we can work together to ensure we create whatever doll, dog, doily, or dream imagined.
